Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following 5 criteria :
1. Have a parent or spouse who was killed
- In the terrorist attacks of 9/11,
OR
- In the line of duty in the service to the U.S.
- U.S. Military (in foreign conflicts). This includes MIAs.
- Diplomatic Corps (in foreign duty)
- Law Enforcement
- Fire Department
- FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigations)
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
- Secret Service
- ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms)
- U.S. Marshals
- NCIS (National Criminal Intelligence Service)
2. Have a declared major at an accredited United States 4-year college or university in one of the life sciences, which could potentially lead to a career in pharmaceuticals, such as (but not limited to):
- Bio chemistry
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Biochemical engineering
- Biomedical engineering
- Biotechnology
- Chemical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Materials Engineering
3. Be a junior, senior, graduate student, or PhD candidate
4. Be able to provide proof of academic merit (see Statement of Merit, described in the Application Process )
5. Be willing to allow Pharmaceutical Services Corporation to make your scholarship award public.
